New Managing Partner for MG+A

Vestavia Hills, AL based, Myrick, Gurosky and Associates, Inc. (MG+A), is proud to announce that Paul Head has joined Scott Gurosky as a Corporate Shareholder and Managing Partner.  Paul began his career with MG+A in 1998 serving in the role of Project Accountant before being promoted to the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in 2001.  Paul has been a vital part of the company’s consistency as one of the southeast’s leaders in the management of Design and Construction.  MG+A is most recognized as a leader in the development of church and church-related facilities having been involved in over 300 church-related projects.  In addition, the company also provides Design-Build services for corporate, institutional, retail and healthcare-related markets throughout the southeastern United States.  Paul’s ownership in the company follows the recent retirement of Wayne Myrick who served as Founder and CEO for more than 26 years.    

Paul will continue in his role as the company’s Chief Financial Officer while also serving as the company’s Director of Risk Management.  Paul’s roots are in Vestavia Hills, AL, graduating from Vestavia High School in 1992 then going on to earn his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from the University of Mississippi where he also played quarterback for the Ole Miss Rebels’ football team from 1993-1997.   In addition to his corporate obligations, Paul is very involved with his family – wife, Leigh Ann; children Chance (19), John Paul (13), Ryanne (9) – and their activities.  Paul currently serves as a City Councilman for the City of Vestavia and is also involved in teaching students at Shades Mountain Baptist Church.
